Comsol has signed an agreement to distribute Avocent's range KVM switches, Cyclades ACS serial console and power management appliances in the Australian market.
Under the agreement, Comsol will sell to Avocent certified partners, resellers and sub-distributors said Gavin Green (pictured), national sales manager, Comsol.
“We will also deliver Avocent’s Take Command program to the channel in combination with our own channel program,” he said.
The program provides different levels of support and interaction based on the type of relationship its various reseller partners are looking for, said Green.
“Some resellers only require a web based system backed up by professional account management and logistics, whereas, other partners need a full range of value-add services ranging from joint marketing campaigns to professional services covering pre sales and post sales support.”
Green said Comsol is currently the sole distributor, however Avocent is currently looking at taking on another distributor.
Avocent couldn’t be contacted at press time for a comment.
