Computer Troubleshooters Australia has been named a partner of data recovery company DriveSavers.
The partnership will allow Computer Troubleshooters to offer data recovery services to its customers.
Computer Troubleshooters is a national franchise that focuses on servicing SMBs.
DriveSavers, which recently opened facilities in Brisbane, specialises in data recovery solutions for hard drives, devices, networked storage and virtual environments.
As well as disaster recovery, DriveSavers offers ransomware related services, including deleted backups, corrupted databases, and unrecoverable files due to faulty decryptors.
The products also integrate with digital forensics and incident response firms, IT restoration companies, insurers, and cyber law specialists.
A release announcing the partnership referred to the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s (ACSC’s) finding that the average cyberattack on a small business reportedly costs $49,600.
Computer Troubleshooters Australia director Michael Dowling said data recovery had always been a key part of the company’s offerings.
“By partnering with DriveSavers, we can now escalate complex data loss cases to one of the world’s most trusted recovery specialists ensuring our customers receive best-in-class outcomes whether they’ve experienced hardware failure, accidental deletion, or a cyber incident,” he said.
“This alliance strengthens our ability to deliver end-to-end solutions from onsite support and remote troubleshooting to advanced data retrieval keeping our clients productive, protected, and prepared for whatever comes next.”
"Together, DriveSavers and Computer Troubleshooters offer a trusted path forward when conventional backup and disaster recovery methods fall short,” DriveSavers Asia Pacific and Japan business development manager Adrian Briscoe added.
