Commsplus signs SafeWeb for SMB cybersecurity

Commsplus Distribution has partnered with SafeWeb to deliver advanced cybersecurity solutions specifically designed for small to medium businesses across Australia.

The distribution agreement will see Commsplus offering SafeWeb's enterprise-grade security platform through its network of resellers and managed service providers.

"SafeWeb is a game-changer for Australian businesses looking for an intelligent, proactive approach to cyber security," Paul Bailye, managing director at Commsplus Distribution, said.

The partnership comes amid growing cyber threats facing Australian businesses, with recent industry reports indicating that 69 per cent of businesses experienced ransomware attacks last year.

SafeWeb's platform provides 24/7 dark web monitoring with artificial intelligence-driven data breach detection, incident alerting and response services, and a privacy toolbox featuring over 40 customisable policy templates.

The solution also includes phishing simulation capabilities designed to help businesses train staff against increasingly sophisticated social engineering attacks.

"Our rapid growth across the UK and Europe has highlighted the critical need for robust cybersecurity among small to medium businesses, and we are eager to extend this vital protection to Australian businesses," Daan Donders, founder of SafeWeb, said.

Commsplus will provide dedicated sales and marketing support along with training for resellers adopting the SafeWeb solution.

The Melbourne-based distributor specialises in unified communications and collaboration technologies, with the SafeWeb addition expanding their security portfolio for reseller partners.
