Coalition has launched Active Cyber Insurance for Enterprises in Australia, offering large organisations up to AUD $35 million in cyber coverage through an expanded strategic relationship with Allianz Commercial.

The product combines Coalition's real-time threat intelligence and proactive risk prevention with Allianz's underwriting capacity and global network. It is aimed at large businesses facing what Coalition described as increasingly sophisticated AI-driven attacks, expanding third-party attack surfaces and tightening regulatory expectations.

Coalition said the offering includes what it calls actionable global telemetry - a system using honeypots and AI to monitor internet-wide threat actor behaviour in real time - and risk-intelligent underwriting, which the company said builds a profile of each organisation's cybersecurity posture rather than relying on static third-party risk scores.

"By bringing together Allianz’s capacity and global network with Coalition’s real-time intelligence, proactive prevention, and proven claims expertise, Australian enterprises can have greater clarity about their cyber risk and the confidence to make informed decisions about their cyber resilience," said Trent Nihill, Coalition's general manager for Australia.

Julie Mitchell, chief general manager of commercial and personal injury at Allianz Australia, said the expanded partnership allows the insurer to extend cyber protection to larger organisations.

"This means we can support a broader range of Australian businesses with cyber cover that responds to the risks they face today," Mitchell said.

Coalition said Active Cyber Insurance has more than 130,000 policyholders globally and handles more than 4,000 claims annually.

The enterprise product was first launched in the United States in July 2026, before rolling out to Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Denmark and Sweden in September 2026 and Canada in October 2026. Australia is among the most recent markets to receive the offering.
