Public sector software provider Civica is partnering with Enterprise AI to embed Enterprise AI’s Development Application Intelligence System (DAISY) into Civica Altitude, the company's cloud-based solution designed for local government capabilities,
Enterprise AI is an Australian AI platform company focused on enterprise-ready AI solutions for the public sector; its flagship product DAISY is an AI assistant for planning authorities and development assessments
The partnership brings together Civica’s local government platform and Enterprise AI’s technology with the aim of accelerating development application (DA) processing, improving statutory consistency, and supporting councils to respond more effectively to growing housing demand.
DAISY Assist guides applicants from initial enquiry through to submission, while DAISY Assess supports planning teams with compliance checks, planning control interpretation, and report drafting.
Early adopters have demonstrated a 20 percent reduction in assessment timeframes and a 49 percent increase in service capacity, the companies claim.
Beyond DAISY, Enterprise AI serves as Civica’s AI module, enabling councils to extend AI augmentation across other high-volume, document-heavy workflows.
“By bringing Enterprise AI into Civica Altitude, we’re helping councils simplify and speed up the assessment process, remove delays, and give staff better tools to make confident decisions faster," said Shane Proctor, Civica’s APAC vice president.
"The real impact is for the community – helping councils deliver housing projects sooner and get more homes built where they’re needed most."
“Councils carry a national responsibility on local budgets - assessing the development applications that housing supply depends on, without the tools enterprises have always been able to afford," James Masella, Enterprise AI’s growth and partnerships director, said.
“We're thrilled to partner with Civica to put that capability in the hands of every council. Pairing a trusted system like Civica Altitude with Enterprise AI lets planners multiply their efforts, assess more applications, and deliver more homes sooner.”
Civica entered into a partnership with nimbus compliance in February, aiming to strengthen payroll accuracy and compliance for local governments across Australia.
