Cisco taps new A/NZ chief
Ken Boal

Cisco Australia and New Zealand has a new managing director, with former public sector lead Ken Boal being appointed to the hot seat.

He replaces Richard Kitts, who moves into the role of leader of services for Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China.

Boal, who joined Cisco in 2004, reports into Jaime Valles, Cisco president for APAC, Japan and greater China.

“Network enabled technology is disrupting and transforming industries across Australia and New Zealand, accelerated by the Internet of Everything,” said Boal, in a statement.

“It’s an honour to be appointed to lead Cisco ANZ and I look forward to continuing to drive Cisco's engagement with our customers, partners and the industry to capture new business value and enable these exciting new possibilities.”

Boal was unavailable for interview at the time of publication.
