Cirrus Networks has landed a Cisco support contract with the Australian Capital Territory government.
The $5 million contract is for the provision of Cisco SmartNET maintenance and support for the next three years, as revealed in an ASX announcement (pdf) overnight.
Cirrus will be supporting the ACT government’s Cisco infrastructure through the combination of the company’s Preferred Partner Support and its vendor direct support models.
“We are extremely pleased to have been awarded this contract with the ACT government through the Digital Transformation Agency’s panel tender process,” Cirrus chief executive Matt Sullivan said.
“We look forward to being a trusted partner of the ACT government over the next three years and continuing to showcase our quality offerings.”
Cirrus said the contract is in addition to some $9 million in contracts signed in July to kick off the new financial year, which was revealed in a 24 July 2019 trading update.
The update also revealed that it expects to report “record” earnings in the 2019 financial year despite reporting lower-than-expected revenue, with more than 300 percent growth from the previous year.
