Cirrus Networks has landed a supply contract with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, known as Austrade, through its subsidiary Correct Communications, in a deal worth $1.6 million.
Austrade is the federal government’s trade, investment and education promotion agency, and is a statutory agency within the government’s Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio.
As part of the contract, Cirrus will provide equipment relating to Austrade’s network requirements, as well as the associated maintenance and support.
“We are pleased to have won this competitive tender and to be able to work with such a high-quality government agency. This win continues the early success for Correct Communications and highlights the value the acquisition has brought to the group,” Cirrus managing director Matt Sullivan said.
“With a team of high-quality staff and a focus on innovative value-add solutions for clients, we are very confident in achieving further growth in Canberra.”
Cirrus reported 76 percent revenue growth for the first half of the current financial year on the back of its acquisitions, including Correct Communications in November last year.
The company took out third place in the 2017 CRN Fast50, growing 176.47 percent that financial year to hit revenue of $53.9 million.
Cirrus also recently landed a managed service contract with Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, a 2500-staff cancer research, education and treatment centre based in Melbourne.
