Cevo, an Amazon Web Services specialist consultancy, has appointed Jeff Voigt as the head of artificial intelligence adoption, a newly created role.
Voigt will work with customers on creating solutions based on AI and help shape Cevo’s AI go-to-market strategy.
He will also support presales activities, build reusable intellectual properties and grow the company’s AI capability and team.
Voigt was most recently head of AI and emerging technology for Macquarie Group’s commodities and global markets division.
He has also held leadership roles at Commonwealth Bank, Westpac and Deutsche Bank.
Voigt said he is excited to join Cevo at an “important moment" for enterprise AI.
“Many organisations know AI will be transformational, but struggle to bridge the gap between strategy and real delivery," he said.
"What attracted me to Cevo is its clear focus on helping organisations move from ambition to a coherent and actionable AI strategy to governed, production-ready solutions that deliver measurable business value."
Cevo chief executive Damian Coyne said the appointment came due to strong market demand for AI.
“There is enormous momentum in the AI space right now, and our customers are increasingly looking for partners who can help them move beyond experimentation and into safe, scalable production delivery," he said.
"Jeff brings a rare combination of deep strategy, hands-on delivery experience and an understanding of what it takes to deploy AI responsibly in regulated environments."
