Melbourne cloud consultancy Cevo said it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) financial services competency status.

The designation validates Cevo's expertise in helping banks, insurance firms, capital market organisations and payment processors achieve their cloud transformation goals.

The AWS Partner Network recognition requires members to demonstrate deep technical proficiency and seamless delivery of solutions on the AWS platform.

"We are proud to achieve the AWS financial services competency," James Lewis, Cevo's chief executive officer said.

"Drawing on deep industry knowledge and AWS's powerful tools, we have a proven track record in solving complex challenges, including the migration of last-mile legacy workloads still on-premises," he said.

"Our focus on navigating heavily regulatory landscapes enables our customers to confidently transform their operations, address specialised use cases, and achieve their strategic goals in an evolving market," Lewis said.

A key offering from the cloud consultancy is its Financial Services Information Security Assessment (FSISA) designed to help organisations regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority to evaluate their compliance with the APRA Prudential Standard on Information Security.

The assessment identifies gaps between existing practices and regulatory requirements, providing detailed analysis and prioritised recommendations to enhance information security frameworks.

As an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, Cevo specialises in helping businesses accelerate their cloud adoption while maintaining security and compliance standards.

Cevo has collaborated with more than 200 organisations across Australia and New Zealand, including financial institutions Insignia Financial, AMP, NEOS and Fiduciary Financial Services.
