CA has adapted three of its IT management tools to work with Cisco's unified computing system (UCS) products.
The tools include CA Spectrum Automation Manager for server provisioning and automation, CA eHealth device health monitoring, and CA Spectrum Infrastructure Manager for fault isolation, root cause analysis and network configuration management.
"This integration provides CA Technologies' customers with the ability to manage the Cisco UCS from their familiar single pane of glass," said Ed Bugnion, CTO of server access virtualisation at Cisco.
The announcement was made at CA World 2010 in Las Vegas, a gathering of some 7,000 customers and partners of CA Technologies.
