Brisbane-headquartered security firm Proaxiom has launched a Microsoft Sentinel-based offering to help mid-sized businesses with Essential Eight compliance.
The Audit to Assurance + Cyber Insurance Readiness program provides ASD Essential Eight Level 3 compliance in eight weeks with cyber insurance readiness and around the clock support via an onshore security operations centre (SOC).
The program assesses businesses against the ASD Essential Eight framework and security control parameters, and provides SOC-based oversight after achieving compliance.
“We recognised a gap in the market for small and medium businesses seeking a solution which worked with their existing infrastructure, leveraged their Microsoft licences and eliminated the panic paralysis faced by businesses after a cyber attack," Mark Woodhouse, Proaxiom’s Chief Executive Officer said.

Proaxiom said managed services providers are "quickly adopting the solution to fill a cybersecurity gap in their portfolio, recognising the impact and accessibility of the Microsoft Sentinel technology."
In addition to the program, the company offers a a range of services from SOC-based oversight and threat intelligence to virtual CISO advisory services.
