Brisbane patient experience software provider Five Faces and Indonesian digital trust provider Privy have announced a partnership agreement to collaborate across both countries.
The deal, revealed at the IndOz conference in Brisbane, aims to combine the strengths of both companies' technologies and distribution networks.
As part of the collaboration, Privy's digital signature solution will be integrated into Five Faces' digital front door platform.
This integration will allow hospitals to use authenticated signatures for medical and financial consent forms.
Privy has facilitated the signing of over 120 million documents since 2016.
With its base of over 40 million verified users, Privy will bring Five Faces' digital front door solution to the Indonesian health market.
This move aligns with Indonesia's national digital transformation agenda, spearheaded by the Digital Transformation Office.
Nicole Nixon, chief executive of Five Faces, said there is increasing demand for authenticated digital signatures as paper forms to be phased out of the Australian health market.
"Whether you're about to have surgery or attending a specialist clinic, secure digital forms are now a must-have, both for patient privacy and convenience, and to enhance automation and data safeguards," she said.
"Digital trust and integrity are cornerstones of healthcare, and we are proud that Five Faces has selected Privy to enhance their leading digital front door solution," Marshall Pribaldi, the co-founder and chief executive of Privy said.
Pribadi added that Indonesian consumers will be able to use their PrivyID to access Five Faces solutions, similar to how they access many government services.
