Brisbane Olympics looks to partners to drive internal ChatGPT adoption

The organising committee for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympics Games is seeking expressions of interest from firms able to help it with its enterprise ChatGPT use.

The object, the organising committee said, is to enable its teams to adopt enterprise ChatGPT in simple, practical ways that improve day-to-day work without adding complexity or process.

Enterprise ChatGPT licences have recently been deployed across the team of 70, with the intent of this engagement is to ensure team members are enabled to use these tools effectively in their daily work to save time, reduce manual effort,  improve clarity and quality of outputs and support stronger thinking and decision-making.

The EOI represents what the committee said is "an initial step" in Brisbane 2032’s broader AI adoption journey, establishing "foundational capability" that can be built on over time.

The primary deliverable is training sessions, covering areas such as using ChatGPT as a daily thought partner; managing workload efficiently in a fast-moving environment; digesting and responding to correspondence; structuring thinking and supporting decision-making; unpacking complex situations and navigating stakeholder dynamics; and reducing “blank page” pressure when starting work.

The scope of work also includes facilitating the creation of a simple, personalised AI thought partner during the training sessions; providing guidance on how to work effectively with AI in daily use; and providing guidance on when not to use AI, handling sensitive information appropriately and maintaining human judgment and accountability.

Out of Scope for the EOI is AI strategy or roadmap development; technical builds, integrations, or automation; development of AI agents or workflow automation; process redesign or transformation programs; and extensive prompt libraries or frameworks.

Timeframe for the expected service delivery is 3-5 weeks.

Expressions of interest close June 5.

Already in 2026, the committee has released EOIs for the provision, configuration, integration, and support of the Data, Intercom, Video, Audio network, as well as for the provision of CCTV systems.
