Brisbane IT support shop goes with Spreets

Simjen Computer Support has joined the growing group buying fad offering remote computer support on Yahoo!’s group buying website Spreets.

The Queensland IT support company has offered a PC tune-up service, Computer Guard, which is powered by Kaseya  for  $39, claiming it's a 92 percent saving.

Simjen director Garrath Elborne told CRN that it was the company’s first time using a group buying site.

“From  an industry point of view customer acquisitions is one of the most expensive things you can do.”

“Buyers will have their computers monitored for six months with end of the month reports and a call from a technician if there is something critcical," he said.

Simjen's customers were small and medium businesses, home users as well as telcos and ISPs, Elborne said.

It also wholesales its products to resellers as a white-label service.
