Breeze Connect, Leader’s full-stack, channel-only Telco and UCaaS provider, has launched Microsoft Teams Calling via Operator Connect, now available to all Leader and Breeze Connect partners across Australia.
Microsoft Teams Operator Connect is a carrier-managed calling solution that enables organisations to add enterprise-grade voice calling directly into Microsoft Teams through a participating operator.
Unlike Teams Direct Routing, which requires Session Border Controllers, Teams Calling can be activated for customers in "minutes rather than weeks", according to Leader, with no SBCs or hardware to manage.
All services can be ordered, provisioned, and managed end‑to‑end through the Breeze Partner Portal, giving partners a single, self‑service platform to control their entire telco stack.
Every partner receives a dedicated account manager, access to sales enablement resources and marketing collateral, deal registration with pipeline protection and technical training and certification. All engineering, provisioning, and support is delivered locally from Breeze Connect local support team in Adelaide, with no offshore support.
Channel partners earn up to 20% commission on all billed revenue (SIP/OC) through the Retail-Reseller framework which handles all end-customer sign up, legal contracts, billing, credit checks, collections, and risk.
Ben Klason, director of enterprise and marketing for Leader, said the launch gives the company's 14,000+ IT partners the "fastest, simplest and most commercially efficient way" to deliver Teams Calling in the Australian market.
"Breeze Connect is unique as no other Telco in Australia combines Microsoft Indirect CSP status, national UC hardware distribution and a full telecommunications carriage network," he said.
"This gives partners a complete, integrated stack to deliver the full solution: M365 + Teams Phone (licence from Leader Cloud), Handsets, Headsets, MTR Systems and Teams Calling plans through Breeze Connect.”
Klason said that one of the key differences with Breeze Connect is that the company manages the entire operational layer on behalf of the reseller, including customer onboarding, contracts, legal compliance, infrastructure, redundancy, billing, credit management and support.
"At the same time, there is no channel conflict as we have no retail arm, no direct sales team and no competing route to market other than through our IT Partner," he explained.
"Every customer on our platform is paired to a Leader reseller. This ensures that every dollar billed by Breeze returns value to an IT partner. We don’t compete against our partners—we enable them to grow & be profitable."
Breeze Connect's portfolio now spans 3CX, SIP Trunking, NBN, Private Fibre, Mobile, SMS, Teams Direct Routing, Teams Operator Connect, and Breeze Wholesale for larger MSPs and ITSPs.
Last year, Breeze Connect hired Alex Morfea as business manager.
