BMC Software has announced the appointment of Paul Arthur as the new head of channels for the Asia Pacific region. In the newly created role, Arthur will be responsible for spearheading the company’s partner strategy and managing the day to day operations of the partner business across the region.
“Asia Pacific is BMC’s fastest growing region and one which relies heavily on partners to capitalise on the enormous market opportunities,” said Lori Cook, vice president - worldwide consulting services and channels, BMC Software.
The channel director will ensure BMC partners obtain the necessary training and resources to effectively market and deliver BMC solutions to customers.
“Recognising the importance and strategic advantage our partner community offers, Paul brings with him the experience, skills, and vision that will help BMC maximise our relationship with our partners and achieve an even greater rate of success in Asia Pacific,” said Cook.
Arthur has been an employee of BMC for 10 years, serving in various roles in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. In his most recent position as EMEA marketing director, he worked closely with BMC partners on the planning, delivery, and execution of enablement, business planning and sales generation activities.
“With a sharp focus on partner enablement, I am confident that we can take advantage of the market opportunities throughout Asia and grow our partner business significantly in the coming year,” said Arthur.
“I look forward to working with our partner community to increase the opportunities for partners, expand BMC’s presence throughout the region, and enhance the partner training and enablement programs to continue bringing quality BMC solutions and services to our customers.”
