Bluechip Infotech has announced a distribution agreement with Huawei to add the company’s eKit networking and data storage products to its range.
The eKit portfolio includes enterprise-grade commercial routers, switches, wi-fi access points and core gateways, along with data storage products including all-flash storage.
Both companies intend to deepen their collaboration by expanding into additional ICT segments within Australia in the future.
Willy Harsono, director of marketing and alliances at Bluechip Infotech, said Australian SMEs are increasingly seeking scalable and easy-to-manage networking and storage solutions to support business growth.
"Huawei's long-standing expertise in ICT infrastructure, combined with the SME-focused approach of Huawei eKit, makes it a valuable addition to our portfolio," he said.
"Alongside its networking capabilities, Huawei brings extensive experience in enterprise data storage and data protection technologies, providing partners with access to a broader range of infrastructure solutions.
“Through this partnership, we're equipping our reseller and MSP community with additional technologies and resources to help address a diverse range of customer requirements."
Jacques Chu, managing director of Huawei’s Australian ICT business, said teaming up with Bluechip Infotech is a significant milestone for Huawei enterprise business as it looks to extend our business within the Australian commercial and SME markets.
"Bluechip's extensive channel ecosystem, trusted relationships, and strong technical service capabilities make them the ideal partner to bring our specialized SME solutions to market," he said.
