India-headquartered BlazeClan, which helped migrate the Bombay Stock Exchange’s paper trading application to the cloud, is set to launch its Australia and New Zealand office in Sydney.
The Amazon Web Services partner will provide cloud managed services and analytics to prospective clients in the ANZ region.
Leading the new office is managing partner Amit Bassi, the former vice president of managed services for Capgemini Australia.
“After our expansion in South East Asia, it made sense that the Australia and New Zealand market would be the next step for BlazeClan,” Bassi told CRN. “We have approached a few prospective clients and our services will definitely meet their immediate needs.”
In addition to its presence in Asia – specifically in Singapore and Malaysia – BlazeClan also has offices in the United States, Canada, France, and Belgium. The company was founded in 2011.
Its other clients include Domino’s Pizza, Mondelez International and Singaporean conglomerate Fraser and Neave.
Stefan Jansen, AWS Australia and New Zealand head of channels and alliances, said: "It’s exciting to see BlazeClan entering the ANZ market to help customers from a wide range of industries take advantage of the significant benefits of the cloud to help reduce the costs of managing IT, but more importantly become more agile and go global.
"BlazeClan are a fantastic addition to the AWS partner ecosystem in Australian and New Zealand," added Jansen.
