RIM will unveil two new BB10 handset with high-resolution displays as it looks to encourage app developers onto its new platform.
The devices are expected to launch at the start of next year. The range will include a full touchscreen handset as well as a traditional RIM QWERTY-keyboard toting device.
The touchscreen device will feature a 1280 x 768 HD display, in line with the Dev Alpha phone first launched to developers earlier this year.
The device will be the only BlackBerry full-touch device to launch with that resolution, with all future BB10 touch devices to hold a 1280 x 720, 16:9 display.
The keyboard-based smartphones will have a screen resolution of 720 x 720. Current BlackBerry QWERTY phones offers resolutions of up to 640 x 480.
