Online commerce platform provider Bigcommerce has launched a partner program for web designers, online professionals and resellers.
According to Simon Clarkson, Bigcommerce director of channels, the company has had informal partner arrangements in the past, and is now seeking to solidify those arrangements with a three-tiered partnering system.
“The three tiers are premium partners, partners and resellers,” Clarkson told CRN.
Bigcommerce boasts 2000 existing partners, however it’s longest serving partners will be promoted to the top tier premium level. The second tier is for partners with a solid reputation and customer base, while reseller is the entry level designation.
The company was founded in Australia and has offices in Sydney and Houston. The company has around 200 employees, and approximately 30,000 customers using its platform.
