MTP Services grew its revenue by 7% in the 2025 financial year to hit $84.6 million and earn itself the number 8 spot in the 2025 techpartner.news Fast50.

MTP, which is a 100% services company, specialises in serving the public sector with federal government administration and defence among its most important verticals.

Information technology rounds out the top three spots.

The Canberra-based company’s chief executive Daniel Mawbey said the FY25 growth was driven largely by professional services and outlined three major wins.

“New staff augmentation engagements with the Federal Government; delivery of beautiful GovCMS websites, including the NVES Regulator website and Department of Home Affairs campaign sites; and delivery of Microsoft Power Platform-based solutions for Federal and State Government clients,” he said.

While professional services made up close to half of MTP’s revenue for the period, most of the other half came from data and application integration services.

Mawbey said the plan to accelerate growth over the 2026 financial year was to build on the success in those two areas.

“(We will be) doubling down on being a solid and reliable partner to existing clients, promoting Power Platform as a cost-effective and low-code replacement for outdated processes and systems, and continuing to help government and industry look beyond labour hire to unlock the benefits of our staff augmentation offerings,” he told techpartner.news.

Geographical expansion is also on the cards as MTP has attracted new clients from across Australia.

“We’re actively expanding into Queensland; we picked up 10 new clients there last financial year,” Mawbey explained.

“We now have ten staff and contractors deployed within the state and a Brisbane office. We also work closely with the Victorian State Government, and kicked off a large project with the Victorian Fisheries Authority last year to deliver a new Licensing and Quota Management System.”

With the “unprecedented demand” for services that pushed MTP’s growth also came the challenge to meet that demand, especially for Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics, Mawbey said.

“We were able to leverage our well-established recruitment capability to rapidly scale and onboard high-quality people that could be embedded with our clients or used to bolster our own project delivery capacity,” he said.
