Not many companies get to say they doubled their prior year’s revenue, but that’s exactly what BluBiz Solutions did, netting themselves the 29th spot in the 2025 techpartner.news Fast50.

That 100% year-on-year growth to hit $7 million in revenue saw the Melbourne-based company being just one of just four companies to land a Profitability Award on the night.

While around half of BluBiz’s revenue comes from managed services, the company also provides hardware and software sales and professional services.

BluBiz founder and managing director Amit Sethi said in the last year, the company’s growth was driven by a range of services.

“Notable activities include transitioning clients from MPLS to SD-WAN/SASE, refreshing networking equipment, and onboarding clients for Managed Security - SOC/SIEM. Additionally, we've seen significant growth in Video Conferencing and Teams Calling, with both WebEx and Teams Calling experiencing notable increases,” he said.

BluBiz top verticals were healthcare, including aged care, as well as education and building groups, but it was also strong in social services and not for profits.

Two major wins were network refreshes, including a total overhaul of Villa Maria Catholic Homes’ LAN, WAN and wifi across 60 sites.

It involved the deployment of 160 Aruba switches and 450 Meraki access points, with Cisco SD-WAN for every site.

More than half of BluBiz revenue comes from enterprise scale customers, with the remainder coming from the midmarket.

To maintain the level of growth, Sethi said BluBiz aims to continue to deliver service to those existing clients which “hold significant growth potential”, while also seeking out new managed services clients.

BluBiz provides support to clients across Australia but, Sethi said, is looking to grow within key regions.

“We are focusing on strengthening our presence specifically in NSW and Queensland. We are actively looking to acquire an existing MSP that meets our requirements,” he said.

Like businesses across the IT industry, BluBiz is finding talent attraction a challenge and is actively seeking talent, particularly across presales, sales and solution architects who are a priority to enable further growth.
