Software solutions group, Axway has announced its plans to increase its presence in the Asia Pacific with the opening of a Melbourne-based office.
The company will also appoint former regional sales director for Layer 7 Technologies, Colman McCaffery as Axway's VP for sales and operations ANZ.
McCaffery will be a key figure in leading the company in its local endeavours, along with its push for the Axway 5 suite.
The Axway 5 suite brings together application integration with B2B, MFT and API management to help organisations manage the flow of data across enterprises, cloud and mobile.
The company is betting their investment will strengthen its capabilities, with 20 sales and technical experts in ANZ to roll out solutions more efficiently.
Currently, Axway's existing customer base stands at more than 100 organisations.
Axway CEO Christophe Fabre said: "We are constantly expanding our geographical footprint to strengthen our market position and the delivery of our solutions to our customers.
"With the addition of Colman’s expertise and talent, we hope to grow our customer base in line with the clear demand for data flow governance solutions in Australia and New Zealand.
