Avnet Partner Solutions and Avnet Computing Components Australia has re-branded as Avnet Technology Solutions, Australia.
The name change is part of the company’s expansion into services. These services range from Channel Connection, a suite of online information services, to the Avnet Technology Solutions Integration Centre, a facility that enables testing and solution builds on technology for business partners to demonstrate solutions to end-users.
KP Tang, president of Avnet Technology Solutions, Asia Pacific said the company has in the past two years, has grown by about 50 percent year-on-year, reaching around 500 business partners across the Australian channel.
“The new name reflects the growing emphasis on business solutions and the integral role of distribution in connecting manufacturers,” he said. The new structure for Australia will enable the team to leverage a broad range of capabilities for all of our business partners.
Avnet Technology Solutions will also be introducing a new tag line: “Vital Connections for Business.” The new tag line refers to all of the value-add services, solution elements and partnerships that Avnet makes available to partners and customers.
