Avanade appoints new country CEO for ANZ

Avanade has named Doug Robinson as the new country CEO for Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Australia, he will report to Bhavya Kapoor, president of Avanade.

Robinson joins Avanade with more than three decades of senior leadership experience, including over two decades at IBM.

At IBM, he was most recently managing partner for IBM Consulting across ANZ, ASEAN and Korea, where he established the unit as the most profitable globally and grew the business to over 7,000 people and over 1 billion in revenue.

He has also advised Accenture on industry growth opportunties, university partnerships, large AI led corporate transformation and inorganic growth opportunities for the Australia/New Zealand market.
