ASX-listed Hansen Technologies has bought the utilities and customer care business of Ventyx.
The acquisition of Customer Suite adds water billing to Hansen's gas and electricity business in North America, with the provider estimating the deal will represent at least 10 percent of Hansen's worldwide revenue.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal gives Hansen customers in over 30 states in US as well as in Canada and the Caribbean as well as 33 experts to its North American team, according to an announcement released to the ASX.
Ventyx and Hansen have also agreement in support of existing shared customers and future opportunities.
Hansen specialises in billing and "customer care" solutions. The company operates in more than 40 countries. Hansen's main office is in Victoria.
