Security vendor Check Point Software has honoured its Asia-Pacific regional partners, with Australian companies being recognised at a ceremey held in Phuket, Thailand.
Attended by 240 regional partners from 19 countries, the Check Point awards recognised top performing cyber security providers and distributors in the region.
NEC Australia took out the Partner of the Year Award. NEC is focusing on state and federal governments, and specialises in the health sector, having strategically aligned its sales, pre-sales, post-sales, marketing and executive teams through a joint go-to-market plan for business growth, with Check Point.
The Growth Distributor of the Year Award went to Dicker Data Australia, which grew over a 100 per cent, year-on-year, in new business for the first half of 2024.
Check Point said the growth for Dicker Data was driven by partner enablement, and expanded the security vendor's presence in Australia.
Meanwhile, the Authorised Training Centre Partner of the Year Award went to Red Education of Sydney.
It was awarded to recognise Red Education's role in addressing the skills gap for cybersecurity, and for having built a foundation for a more secure digital future.
NTT ANZ and its other regional offices were awared by Check Point Software for achieving impressive growth in the first half of the year.
The GSI Partner of the Year is a long-standing Check Point partner, and secured significant customer bookings.
