Aussies celebrate with global AWS awards winners

Local Measure, TechnologyOne, Versent were among the winners announced at the Partner Awards Gala at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas this week.

Sydney-based Local Measure was named APC Marketplace Partner of the Year. Local Measure’s achievements include developing a GenAI-based asynchronous messaging tool for Canada’s TELUS International.

Local Measure developed the tool using Engage, a prebuilt cloud contact centre platform built on Amazon Web Services. The tool integrates with Amazon Connect and combines customer communications, Amazon Bedrock foundation models and machine learning in a single interface.

TechnologyOne was named as the APJ Public Sector Technology Partner of the Year, while Versent was named APJ Industry Partner of the Year - Energy and Utilities.

AWS Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Rianne van Veldhuizen congratulated Local Measure, TechnologyOne and Versent.

“We’re thrilled to see so many local AWS Partners recognised for their innovative and transformative work for our customers,” she said.

“They are part of a growing network of over 130,000 global members in the AWS Partner Network, leveraging AWS technologies, programs, expertise, and tools to build innovative solutions and services for customers.

“We're committed to investing in our partner’s success and helping them scale and grow globally through the many programs we offer including competency programs, and through delivering training and certifications to empower our partner community.”
