Gibson Quai-AAS (GQ-AA) resells Tangoe's patented lifecycle management application.
UXE's telecommunications consultancy services division signed the reseller agreement to build on its telecommunications expense management (TEM) offering.
In an interview with CRN, Jonathan Jones, group manager expense management services, said CommCare is a bureau based service for telecommunications bill and device management that enables clients to save by identifying hidden waste, process inefficiencies and redundancies.
Tangoe's product will complement GQ-AAS existing strengths in bill audits, carrier contract rate benchmarks and managed services benchmarks.
Jones said with the global recession businesses are looking for ways to save on expenses with a return on interest (ROI).
"Businesses are increasingly becoming interested in our services," he said.
"However they want reassurance of the ROI on the offerings."
Jones said clients should start with a bill audit to clear the decks of errors and then use the ongoing CommCare Bill and Device Management service to ensure no new errors creep in."
GQ-AAS has been around for 20 years. Both were separate companies and have been amalgamated into one company under the UXE banner for the past five years.
