Perth-based Family Zone has reached an agreement with Woolworths Mobile to be the newest retailer for its cyber safe mobile phone FZ One.
Woolworths will offer the device at its supermarkets nationwide by the end of the year, and will be available on prepaid plans and postpaid bundled with a 36 month plan.
Family Zone will also bundle a 12-month Family Zone subscription with each purchase.
“At Woolworths Mobile we are focused on providing customers the flexibility and control they need for their family’s mobile devices, and we are pleased to be able to now offer the FZ One to give parents the added security controls they are looking for,” Woolworths head of mobile James McMurrough said.
Family Zone's cyber safety software and hardware allows families to manage their kids' online usage across smartphones, tablets, home computers and other home wi-fi connected devices.
The company earlier this year landed a deal with Alcatel to oreload its Mobile Zone filtering technology onto its mobile phones, providing parents with the option to sign up and install the software without any requirement to download when setting up their child’s device.

“We’re also extremely excited by the imminent launch across their stores and online, in time for the important Christmas retail period”.
