Asus has unveiled new additions to its LED Designo Series range, the MS238 and MS228 monitors.
The monitors feature 16.5mm profiles and 21.5 inch to 23.6 inch. The displays come in glittering sapphire blue rear bezel with a benchmark 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio for more lifelike images.
It also comes with the original's iconic Ergo-Fit Technology spherical ring stand that lets users adjust the monitor's tilt angle.
Full HD (1920x1080) and HDMI compatibility allows for high definition video playback while a 2ms (GTG) response time delivers crisp and sharp video.
In keeping with Asus's green initiatives, the Designo Series LED monitors have done away with the use of bulbs, replacing them with eco-friendly, mercury-free LED backlit panels
In comparison with a similar-size conventional four-lamp LCD monitor, Asus claimed that the MS238 achieves 45 percent in power savings and lowers annual CO2 emissions by 23.6 kilograms.
Asus in Australia and New Zealand provides a three year pick up and return warranty, plus a 30 Days zero bright dot guarantee. It is available now from Synnex, Altech and Ingram Micro.
The recommended retail price for the 21.5 inch is $499 and $599 for the 23.6 inch.
