Telecommunications solutions provider Astrotel, based in Sydney, is partnering with network-infrastructure-on-demand company Alkira, exclusively for the Asia Pacific region.

The collaboration aims to bring Alkira's innovative NIOD solutions to businesses and enterprises across the region.

Founded in 2018 by Amir and Atif Khan, Alkira's platform integrates on-premises systems, multi-cloud environments, devices, applications, and users into a single, easily-configurable system.

"Alkira offers a transformative approach to building communications networks, making it an ideal partner for Astrotel as we advance telecommunications for business and enterprise in the Asia-Pacific region with cutting-edge cloud and AI native global technologies," said Elizabeth Aris, Astrotel's founder.

The Alkira solution provides benefits such as enhanced network performance, flexibility, and efficiency.

It can be set up in hours and securely routes data over major hyperscalers' backbones, bypassing traditional telco infrastructure.

"Using Alkira, organisations can instantly extend connectivity to users, sites, devices, cloud instances and applications running on the hyperscalers' infrastructure," Aris added.

Alkira's technology has gained traction with major corporations, including Standard & Poor's, which uses the platform for cloud networking and partner connectivity.

The solution's consumption-based pricing model ensures customers only pay for what they use, while an enterprise license agreement (ELA) model offers unlimited use.
