Networking vendor Arista has signalled a partner recruitment push.

Speaking during a Q2 earnings call, president and CEO Jayshree Ullal noted that the quarter saw the debut of the company’s new campus networking products.

Asked by a financial analyst how Arista plans to get the new range to market, Ullal said one of the company’s plans is “new channels, new partners, new systems integrators.”

“We've never been viewed as a partner friendly company, but we are very friendly with partners at the moment,” Ullal said in response to another question. “And I think the campus is a key piece of that strategy and the partner see us as a key piece of that.”

Arista’s Q2 saw it bring in US$608.3 million of revenue, up 2.2 percent compared to the first quarter of 2019, and an increase of 17.0 percent from the second quarter of 2018.

GAAP net income hit $189.3 million, a welcome change from the GAAP net loss of $155.3 million for the second quarter of 2018.
