ArgentEdge launches Gemini Enterprise Practice for ANZ agentic AI deployments

ArgentEdge, an Australian Google Cloud and AI consultancy, has launched a Gemini Enterprise Practice for Australia and New Zealand, aimed at helping organisations plan, build and deploy enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions on Google's Gemini platform.

The practice will cover agent design and development through to implementation, integration and managed delivery, staffed by Google-certified practitioners working with customers across the region.

The launch follows the opening of the ArgentEdge Academy, which the company said is developing what it describes as Agentic Agent Builders and Forward Deployed Engineers through structured training pathways and Google certification programmes.

ArgentEdge said the Academy is also providing retraining pathways for existing Australian IT engineers and entry points for university graduates.

Together, the Gemini Enterprise Practice and the Academy represent what ArgentEdge called a significant investment in locally available Gemini capability - a response, the company said, to rising uptake of Google Gemini technologies across the region. 

ArgentEdge said three practitioner roles are in especially high demand as enterprises move from AI pilots to production: Agentic Agent Builders, who design and orchestrate autonomous AI agents connected to enterprise systems; AI Process Analysts, who map business processes and redesign workflows for agent deployment; and Forward Deployed Engineers, who embed directly with customers to deploy and refine AI solutions in production.
