Cohesity has updated its Aspire Global Partner Program, introducing a new specialisations credential, expanded rebates for teamed deals and a consolidated partner dashboard.

The vendor said the updates are designed to better align the programme with how partners are building services-led, recurring-revenue businesses, and follow direct partner feedback on complexity as a barrier to growth.

The first specialisation available is Professional Services. Partners who earn it receive access to a dedicated professional services delivery desk, preferred rates on teamed engagements, and technical content aimed at accelerating deployments. Additional specialisations covering technical support delivery and cyber resilience are planned for later in the programme year.

On incentives, opportunity rebates now extend to teamed deals as well as partner-sourced opportunities. Deal registration has been simplified, sales rep SPIF requirements no longer require training completion as a prerequisite, and growth performance rebates are moving to annualised tools with fixed payout levels.

Cohesity said it is also significantly increasing partner rebates for data security and data insights solutions, and introducing renewal incumbency rules to give partners a consistent price advantage when renewing customers on time.

Enablement requirements have also been streamlined, with Cohesity reducing training and certification prerequisites for selected regions and tiers and adding guided learning paths intended to shorten the time between joining Aspire and being ready to sell.

A new dashboard in the Cohesity partner portal now gives partners a single view of training, certifications and billing requirements, expanding on an existing centralised incentives view available through the Manage My Business portal.

"As partners continue to invest in services-led and recurring-revenue practices, it's important that we invest alongside them," said James Eagleton, ANZ managing director at Cohesity.

"By simplifying the program, expanding incentives and introducing new Specialisations, we're giving partners more ways to grow, differentiate and deliver greater value to customers across Australia and New Zealand."
