SecOps platform vendor Arctic Wolf is now using Databricks’ platform to improve its data processing capabilities.
Arctic Wolf's Aurora Platform ingests and processes more than eight trillion security observations each week and over 300 petabytes of data annually.
The Databricks Data Intelligence platform integration will allow it to more quickly combine telemetry from a wide range of sources into a single environment.
The company said it will also improve Alpha AI, Arctic Wolf’s security operations artificial intelligence product that uses data to refine alerts and offer workflows for management and response.
Arctic Wolf technology and services president Dan Schiappa said data scale is becoming a problem in modern cybersecurity.
“The volume, variety, and velocity of telemetry demand a platform that can turn complexity and noise into clear outcomes," he said.
"Partnering with Databricks gives us the scalable foundation to action one of the industry’s most diverse security datasets for faster and better threat protection for our customers."
Databricks security vice president Omar Khawaja reiterated that the platform would allow for faster data processing.
“Running security operations at scale demands a data architecture optimised for performance, agility, and real-time insights," he said.
"By integrating the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform with Arctic Wolf’s Aurora Platform, we’re enabling them to fully harness the power of their security telemetry, driving faster, smarter decisions across one of the world’s largest commercial Security Operations Centres."
Last year, technology services provider Tecala announced a partnership with Arctic Wolf.
