Apple to open first QLD store

A year after opening its own branded stores in Sydney, Apple plans to open its first retail store in Queensland.

It will be located on the Gold Coast and doors will be officially opened on 9th May.

The Apple Store will be at Robina Town Centre and have hands-on workshops for personalised instruction on the Mac, iPod and iPhone, as well as Apple Youth Workshops - free workshops for families.

In a statement to the media, Apple said the opening of Apple Store Robina is the fourth Apple retail store to be opened in Australia in less than 12-months.

The first store opened in Australia was Apple Store Sydney on 18 June 2008.

The Apple Store Robina will be located at Unit 4073, Robina Town Centre, Robina Town Centre Drive.
