Anyware Corporation has signed up to distribute IP security products and accessories from Swann Communications.
The deal opens up access to Swann's full range, which will be selectively phased in from early August "to take Swann to a huge network of resellers across the country".
Swann's range includes wireless connectivity, CCTV cameras with infrared night vision, digital video recording with motion detection, web surveillance and remote notification.
Travis Bedford, Swann Communications Asia-Pacific vice president, said: "Securing Anyware's partnership is a crucial move for Swann's growth within the IT channel. With security and IT now aligning more closely than ever, we see Anyware as a ready-made partner with the right focus on security and a mature customer base."
Anyware's managing director, Garrison Huang, said: "Swann has become a household name in Australia. We see security as a growing market and this deal now gives Anyware the most complete range of products and accessories in the IT distribution channel."
Swann is an Australian company founded in 1987 that now has a presence in more than 40 countries on six continents.
