Australian PC accessory distributor Anyware Corporation has signed a national distribution agreement with Belgium scanning vendor IRIS.
Anyware will be the first distie to bring IRIS’ products to the Australian channel.
“Until now IRIS has primarily focused on the European market,” said Anyware national marketing manager Cameron Anstee. “The new arrangement is a result of a meeting at an overseas trade event.”
“The timing of IRIS looking to expand geographically and Anyware looking to increase our portfolio of SMB products is a perfect fit.”
Anyware will distribute IRIS’ line of mobile scanners, including single and multiple sheet-fed, pen scanners, scanner-mouse all-in-one devices and business card scanners, in the distie's first-ever catalogue of mobile scanning devices.
“In order to accommodate the growing interest in IRIS’ products in Australia we have decided to enlarge our presence on this fast-moving market,” said IRIS worldwide sales director Bernard de Fabribeckers.
“Selecting the right distributor was a critical aspect of this decision. With Anyware Corporation as our National Distributor, we have found experienced and ambitious partners that will help us attract technically sophisticated private and professional users and thus successfully pursue our growth strategy."
Anyware's other vendors include Kaspersky, Symantec, Trend Micro, 8ware and McAfee.
