Ash Dowen has taken over as Anthropic's partnerships leader for ANZ.
He joins from CrowdStrike, where he spent the last five years, most recently as APJ director - head of GSI and cloud.
Prior to this, he was at NetApp for close to 12 years, with his final role being global client director of FSI.
"I’ll be working with partners, from global system integrators and AI-native companies to our trusted cloud providers, to guide their clients through the most significant technology shift of our generation," Dowen said in a post on LinkedIn about his new role.
"These partners already hold the trust of their customers. Together, we can turn AI’s potential into real outcomes. What attracted me and what sets Anthropic apart is that we do this safely."
Earlier this month, Nigel Mendonca joined as Anthropic's head of ANZ enterprise.
The hire followed on from David Masters coming on board in June as its head of policy for ANZ, and in April, Theo Hourmouzis was appointed as GM of ANZ.
In March, the company announced its office opening in Sydney, Anthropic's fourth in Asia-Pacific, alongside Tokyo, Bengaluru, and Seoul.
