Alloys quadruples footprint in Queensland
Alloys' new distribution centre

Niche distie Alloys has announced a new Queensland centre featuring a warehouse four times the size of its original and a showroom for resellers.

"This move is an outward reflection of our commitment to bringing the full non-traditional methodology to the Queensland reseller channel as we continue to enhance our national footprint," said CEO Paul Harman.

The company said in a statement that the larger warehouse will lead to "increased efficiencies and local stock levels" for its Queensland clientele. The new distribution centre in Acacia Ridge, south of Brisbane, will also have an operational showroom to demonstrate its print, imaging and security catalogue to resellers.

Alloys said the showroom will also be available to "resellers for demonstration and seminars to local businesses with a host of guest speakers appearing during the year".

Queensland branch manager Michele Scrivano said she looks forward to hosting the Queensland channel at the new facility in future events, including an opening soiree in June.

The new Queensland distribution centre follows Alloy's purchase of Brisbane-based print distie Integrex Systems last year and the subsequent national expansion out of its Melbourne origins.
