Alert-Me looking for channel partners after signing distribution deal

The deal was announced at the International Security Conference in Las Vegas.

Alert-Me will deliver surveillance camera, security, automation, control and management systems to Australian and New Zealand residential customers and small businesses.

The company is now looking for partners with security, telephone, internet, audio-visual, home automation or home computer and Pay TV service providers.

"With the soon to be launched Alert-Me technology we will provide end users with remote viewing of alarm-triggered video, live video and remote control of environmental variables like climate control, lighting and alerts from water and temperature sensors," said Graeme McGeorge, managing director of Alert-Me.

Users will also be able to retrieve pre- and post-alarm video from their account.

McGeorge added that in partnering with Xanboo, for its line of remote security control devices and video monitoring technology, Alert-Me will bring to the Australian and New Zealand market an end-to-end technology platform that enables access and control of devices locally or remotely over the Internet via a mobile phone, iPhone / iPod, PDA or PC.

Residential and commercial subscribers can use Alert-Me systems to control and monitor devices in their home or business with Internet connection.
