Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise rolls out cloud communications platform in Australia

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) is bringing its Rainbow Hub cloud communications platform to Australia through strategic collaborations with multiple business partners.

Following recent launches in Brazil, Singapore, and Canada, the expansion into Australia reflects what ALE claims is a growing demand for unified cloud communications that enhance collaboration and streamline operations.

The solution will be available in Australia through channel partners.

Rainbow Hub integrates advanced Cloud PBX capabilities with ALE’s existing suite of collaboration and videoconferencing tools.

Key features of the Rainbow Hub include complete unified communications functionality, telephony services, advanced mobility options, welcome and attendant services, analytics and integration capabilities.

The solution also has a number of collaboration features, such as audio and video conferencing, one-to-one and group chat, file storage and file and screen sharing.

From a security perspective, Rainbow Hub is 'secure by design' with security standards and all-year-round monitoring.

ALE has also recently enhanced Rainbow Hub with Rainbow Carrier Connect, a cloud-to-cloud connection enabling integration between operators and Rainbow, allowing rapid deployment through certified carriers, as well as Bring Your Own Trunk, a flexible option enabling customers to retain their current operators while leveraging Rainbow Hub's cloud features.

ALE is also incorporating artificial intelligence with features such as background blurring, ambient noise reduction and upcoming innovations in communication transcription and translation.
