Akami has appointed Graeme Beardsell as managing director for Asia Pacific and Japan.

The new MD brings 25 years of experience in management and sales, including 14 years at IBM. Beardsell also held the role of senior vice president at Solace Systems for two years.
He will be based in the Singapore office of the US-headquartered cloud service provider.
Beardsell will be responsible for sales, business development and go-to-market strategies for the region.
