Aia Software documents more customers need resellers to manage growth
John Kara, managing director of Aia Software Australia, told CRN the vendor was looking for resellers thanks to significant customer growth.

“It’s an exciting time for our company, as we are experiencing significant customer growth. In addition Aia has traditionally worked with partners successfully - and we want to employ this successful channel strategy in Australia. We are looking for resellers across Australia, New Zealand and Asia,” he said.

According to Kara the vendor is looking for specific industry experience around its core markets including financial services (i.e. insurance, banking and leasing), utilities and governments. It is also looking for partners that have current business relationships with some of its big overseas customers such as AXA, HSBC, Leaseplan, ABN AMRO and QBE.

“We want to partner with companies that can provide the experience within our core markets, but more-over they will be selling a highly scalable document creation solution that has enterprise capability, and as such requires extensive training and know how on the partners behalf,” he said.

According to Kara, Aia puts channel partners into three distinct categories including; Independent Software Vendor's (ISVs), Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Implementation Partners (SI).

Kara claimed these resellers will be put into the Aia Software business partner program that offers a distribution agreement with attractive terms; a start up program with training, test software, support; ITP licenses package for test and development; commercial and technical training; proof of concept support; helpdesk support; professional services (for example, assistance with first projects and bespoke training); and sales and marketing support.

“Resellers can open up doors to new customers and extend our potential sales and technical force,” said Kara.

He said that currently Aia Australia is the sole distributor in Australia, although it has several ISV’s and VAR’s operating across Asia Pacific including Xchanging and Markinson Business solutions.
