Adrenalin Computers shuts up shop
According to director Michael Paley all stock has been reduced to clear and operational and Demo PC equipment will also be sold at attractive pricing.

Paley claimed a number of small things put together caused him to check sales figures over the last nine years of business and make the decision to shut up shop.

“It was a number of things, a new lord had put up our rent to $1600 a month and we looked at moving, but the negotiations fell through for the new place. We took a review of sales figures and decided it was time to close up shop,” he said.

Paley told CRN, Adrenalin’s sales figures peaked in 2001, with Y2K and GST, but has been in slow decline since then.

“With the market in shrinkage and ruthless competition, it was better to close up shop than keep on going. We built a video editing suite for customer a couple of years ago and it cost him $6000, we built him another one a couple of weeks ago, and it included high definition and it only cost him $2300. Margins are shrinking as the price of hardware comes down,” said Paley.

He thanked loyal customers that have played a big part in Adrenalin’s business in the IT industry.

“We apologise for the inconvenience and wish everyone the best of luck for the future,” he said.
