Craig McGregor, channel manager, Adobe A/NZ said it launched the promotion because the financial year was coming to a close and it wanted to stimulate demand for its reseller base of entry level Adobe products.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 is a tool for budding photographers and Adobe Premiere Elements 7 provides an easy way to make home videos.
"We also hope that this will start a relationship with a new customer base, that both Adobe and resellers can take advantage of," said McGregor.
"When customers' skills increase, resellers can provide potential upgrade opportunities."
In other company news, Samantha Salier, formerly marketing communications manager for Adobe has taken over as channel marketing manager.
