Australian and Southeast Asian technology distributor ACA Pacific Technology has partnered with international IT distribution network GCN Group.
Headquartered in Barcelona, GCN Group “creates the necessary scale for technology developers to address worldwide markets while helping regional distributors compete effectively with mega-scale operator,” according to a press release.
ACA Pacific gains access to hardware and software vendors aligned with more than 100 GCN distributors globally. This will enable ACA Pacific’s local reseller partners access to a broader product and solutions portfolio, according to the distributor.
“The ‘group’ concept unites international IT distributors for improved competitiveness, including access to the online KATY Platform - a B2B initiative digitalising and automating two-tier distribution,” the announcement states.
“Partnering with this dynamic and innovative IT Group significantly enhances our solutions portfolio while extending our reach globally,” stated Mark Gill, ACA Pacific Australia country manager. “This aligns with our delivery of exceptional value for our local Australian resellers and vendors."
The partnership builds on existing relationships with ACA Pacific across the Asia Pacific region.
“ACA Pacific is already one of our key distributors with a reputation for an innovative and flexible approach to the market,” stated GCN’s Chief Revenue Officer Angelamaria Bova.
The partnership will enable ACA Pacific and its aligned resellers and vendors to take advantage of “synergies, economies of scale and collaboration for improved operational efficiency, enhanced marketing and promotion, and expansion into new markets”, according to the announcement.
ACA Pacific Australia is “targeting a digital transformation journey integrating operations on the KATY Platform, with substantial progress anticipated in early 2024”, Gill said.
“This represents a significant effort that accelerates and eases market access, particularly for Software as a Service and other annuity-based revenue streams. In effect, KATY means automation of billing, provisioning, and other crucial reseller tasks – allowing our resellers to focus their efforts on value creation rather than administration.”
Angelamaria Bova complimented ACA Pacific Australia’s customer service, partner training program, continuous marketing and communication efforts, and logistics model.
“Now, along with their vision to provide the best solutions, quality, and technology, ACA Pacific Australia has a technological advantage thanks to GCN Group’s innovative platform digitising their business effectively and efficiently while expanding their reach,” she stated
ACA Pacific has offices in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
