A10 Networks lures Aussie resellers with discounts

A10 Networks has announced discounts, training and other incentives for Australian resellers as part of a new local partner program.

The vendor launched its Affiinity Partner Program in Australia and New Zealand this week, with three new tiers: Platinum, Gold and Bronze.

Resellers are being promised "significant discounts" for deal registration, while an onboarding program will include sales and technical training. The vendor says its redesigned partner portal will be easier for resellers to use.

A10 Networks has been steadily building its presence in Australia, announcing the signing of distributor WhiteGold Solutions in March, followed by Melbourne reseller OCG Systems in April.

In March, Bruce Nixon moved across from Aruba Networks to take up the channel director role at A10 Networks in Australia. Local managing director Greg Barnes joined in February.

A10 Networks' channel credentials also received a shot in the arm with the hiring overseas last year of former vice president of HP's global channel marketing, Kirsten Lee.

Lee said that a "significant part" of the A10 Networks customer base will buy in excess of eight times their initial purchase. "That says a lot about the value we give partners," Lee said.

A10 Networks reportedly had 550 channel partners worldwide when it launched the Affinity program overseas in April.

The Affinity Partner Program covers the three A10 Thunder Series product lines: Application Delivery Controller (ADC), Threat Protection System (TPS), and Carrier Grade Networking (CGN).
